This machine is primarily used to entirely solve the problem of separating and recycling the aggregates and slurry which come from washing concrete mixers or truck-mounted pumps at the end of operations or during the day if necessary. The separator washes and separates aggregates (gravel and sand used to make up concrete), from cement and silt. This ensures that the material that comes from washing the concrete mixers can be fully recycled. The SCR 700 separator can be considered as a system with an incoming flow (concrete) and two outgoing flows (washed aggregates and a flow of water, silt and cement). The incoming concrete is conveyed to the hopper designed to make material unloading and machine washing easier. This hopper is not used to accumulate material. Inside the hopper, water is circulated to prevent the silt sedimenting, while a screw conveyor conveys the aggregates through a tilting trough, where they are sprayed by clean water.
